Nurse Aide Program.

Dental Assistant Program

their values, skills, and knowledge to the Dental Assistant profession.

information to qualify as an entry level dental assistant is a priority.
24Hrs-In Service Continue Education
seminar will serve as continuing education requirement for certified
Nursing Assistant renewing there license in the state of Texas Indicial
must be a certified nurse aide/assistant as evident by their submission
of license or letter from DADS.
Medical Assistants
a professional who performs a variety of functions to assist the
physician in providing patient care and to keep the practice running
smoothly. While a Medical Assistant may be required to perform some
administrative tasks in a smaller practice, our program is designed to
prepare you for any situations you may encounter once you start your
career.
Administrative Assistant
and Secretarial Sciences designed to prepare students to perform the
duties of Administrative Assistants or secretaries and related
occupations. Students compose, key, format and process documents
(correspondence, reports, tabulations and forms); compile, proofread,
edit and correct documents; operate dictation, transcription equipment
and computers; use word processing, spreadsheet, database, desktop
publishing, presentation and communication software; receive,
distribute and sort incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail; perform basic
mathematical functions; operate office equipment; perform records
management duties; communicate with others in person, in writing or
by telephone; and, perform receptionist duties.
Medication Aide
is a state regulated training and certification program that prepares
Certified Nurse Aides to administer medications in a long-term care
setting. Students receive instruction and training in the preparation and
administration of medications; observe, report, and document
resident’s status; review principles of safety; and demonstrate
knowledge of measurement systems, body systems, and common
diseases.

Phlebotomy Technician
Is the practice of drawing blood from patients, the
students will be instructed in clinical medical laboratory
procedures. Topics include specimen collection; urinalysis,
basic office bacteriology, hematology, and chemistry.
Patient Care Technician
This training covers basic laboratory procedures,
electrocardiograms, check vital signs, and gain experience
in Phlebotomy. Upon successful completing the program
you are eligible to take the Nurse’s Aide State exam.
Health Information Technology
Health Information Technology will introduce the
students to the exchange of health information in an
electronic environment. for any setting within the health
care industry, this program will prepare students with the
knowledge and skills to process, analyze, compile,
maintain, manage, and report health information.
Computer Repair Technician
The Computer Technician Program, in this course the
student will learn how computer systems work and also
learn how to maintain and repair computer systems, to
prepare students too support personal and industry’s
computer’s on an entry level computer technician with
about 12 months of on-the-job experience.
Billing and Coding Specialist
demonstrates an individual’s skill and experience in the
intricacies of both procedural and diagnostic coding
systems and will have the required knowledge and skills
in outpatient coding. Students are expected to be able to
make proper code selections based on the highest degree
of specificity, and understand the implications of under or
over-coding.
